americaToday is March 31ST which means the month is now behind us completely, but that also means that this is one last chance to feature an all female superhero. Why you ask? Well, it’s because on 365 Comics, we have been celebrating Women’s History Month here on the blog and I want to close this one out with a bang. I decided to close it out with a superhero that I am not really familiar with who goes by the name of America Chavez. She is a superhero that is able to travel through portals and dimensions who comes from a utopian planet where he two moms sacrificed themselves for the safety of the planet. Ever since then, she has been living on her own and fighting for the good of the galaxy alongside The Ultimates (Captain Marvel, Black Panther, Blue Marvel, and Spectrum). What if this isn’t what she had in mind though for her life from here on out? What if there is a chance that she was destined to do something else? America takes the chance and goes to college, but she may have bitten off more than she can chew. To read more about the issue and more, please click here.

america 1I didn’t know what to really expect out of the comic when I was first going into it even though I am a huge fan of Joe Quinones and his work. I have to be honest in saying that it’s actually a pretty good comic book and a very hip with today’s society kind of book. They definitely fly the colors for the LGBTQ community which is very cool to see because why not? We live in a society where anything is just about possible and that begs the question all the way down the line. She is kind of a tough girl who doesn’t really take criticism very well because I think she has that chip on her shoulder, but you have to read this comic because that could all possibly change for her. What do I need to say about Joe Quinones artwork that I haven’t already said in the past. It’s new, fresh, and it’s hip to what every one is doing today. The panels are easy to read and follow along with so you shouldn’t have a problem there. If you need something different in your life, then check this one out because a certain Marvel Legend makes an appearance at the end.
